St. Petersburg is not only the capital of Russia but also a center of creativity. It is definitely one of the country's most beautiful cities.

The world‘s best helicopter camera system - the Cineflex Camera - was used for this documentary and delivered fantastic images in HD quality, revealing the surprisingly diverse landscapes and fascinating towns of Poland from a bird‘s eye view of Poland‘s medieval towns, the modern silhouette of Warsaw, the untouched nature of the border regions between east and west, the coasts to the north and the mountain ranges of the south.

This documentary delves deep into this more than thousand-year-old cultural history in Europe's East. For the very first time, sensational footage, shot by the world's best cameramen, presents a bird's-eye view of the most important and most beautiful buildings of Old Russia. The camera explores en detail art and ornamentation, mounted on high on these splendid structures centuries ago to the glory of God, far above the line of vision of humans.

Authors familiar with Russian culture find the material for their stories beneath the roofs and golden onion-shaped towers, which tell of old traditions, passions and visions. Russian and Ukrainian protagonists fill the stories, which encompass this unique culture and architecture, time and again with their warmth, their love and a good portion of humor. They proudly present the old Russian legacy that during the World War and in the old Soviet Union days, constantly threatened to disappear.

Most people believe, that old clothes donations collected by various organisations are immediately sent to countries in need. What they don't know is, the majority of the donated clothing is sold per kilogramme. Some aid organisations merely place their logo on the collection containers of used clothes firms.

A small amount of the clothing is given to the needy in the country of origin. The better, still useful items are sent to Eastern Europe and the Arab states. 60% of the articles are sent to Africa. But just what happens to the used items there? Michael Höft and Christian Jentzsch travelled to Tanzania in search of answers. Their conclusion: Not only German companies and several major aid organisations earn well from the donations; for many traders in Africa, old clothes donations are a lucrative business model. Even the poorest of the poor have to pay at least something for them. The cheap clothes flood the markets of the respective countries and bring the African textile industry to its knees.
